Join us for an evening of ceremony, soulful connection, and manifestation to celebrate the Lunar New Year. 2023 is the year of the Rabbit, which is especially lucky for the Greenville community! The group will come together to activate desires, journal, and utilize breath-work to be a receptive vessel for the cacao. Cacao is recognized as a heart opener for its ability to stimulate blood flow and promote feelings of bliss, joy, and love. The experience will be infused with a deep relaxation gong sound bath for a cleansing shift to clear blocks, remove stagnancy, and activate inner-confidence. Everyone is welcome! Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring your own mat, journal and blanket/shawl to get cozy. **In order to receive the highest frequency from the cacao, it is suggested not to eat a heavy meal or drink alcohol prior to the experience. Stretch This workshop is for couples and partners from all walks of life! Whether you’re friends, lovers, colleagues, siblings, or parent and child. Move beyond the physical through deepened intimacy. Stretch your levels of trust, strengthen communication, and enhance your relationship through assistance poses. The flowing postures, the push and pull, and the reliance on someone else create a connection because participants must be fully engaged in the moment and in the movements. Coordinated nonverbal movement like that found in the rhythmic breathing and posing of couples yoga can help couples feel “more affectively attuned to each other,” according to a study from the British Psychological Society. Mimicry, the practice of matching your partner’s moves, can also help to increase empathy and bonding, according to the study. “A couples yoga experience can serve as a kind of mini ‘retreat’ or ‘workshop’ to strengthen a relationship.” ~ Julia Lehrman (licensed psychotherapist and certified yoga instructor) Sun February 12th, 5-6:30pm $40/couple Sign up here: https://pillar.janeapp.com/#/staff_member/4/treatment/7 (Sunday) 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm Pillar Holistic Living 9 Mulligan St
